LAST POST OF 2012

Hi guys! Sorry I could not write much last days, I've got a cold since the 24th December. But I can finally say I got over it! And the best thing: it happened now, on time to enjoy New Year's eve and start 2013 with health!

It was pending to show you a lot of things, so I decided in the end to show you how my Boxing Day (26th December) was. After the first few hours of shopping, we met our friends, Paul and Mary to go to a pub where people were going to meet  for a fox hunt. These days it is no longer a hunt itself but rather a representation. A group of hounds chases a scent that has been laid (dragged) over a course with a defined beginning and end, before the hunt. The scent, usually a combination of aniseed oils and possibly animal meats or urine, is dragged along the terrain by a volunteer for any distance up to several miles to a designated finish line before the hounds are released at the start line by their owners. Although we arrived a little bit late, as fate would have it, we found them just in front of us! We were really lucky! :)

Buenas chic@s!! Siento no haber podido escribir mucho en estos dias, he estado resfriada desde el día 24. Después del ultimo post, al fin puedo decir que ya estoy recuperada!! Y lo mejor de todo, justo para poder disfrutar del fin de año y empezar el 2013 con salud!!

Tenía pendiente enseñaros muchas cosas, así que al final he decidido mostraros como fue mi 26 de diciembre, Boxing Day. Después de aprovechar las primeras horas de compras, quedamos con nuestros amigos Paul y Mary para ir a un pub donde se reunieron cazadores que iban a participar en la cacería del zorro. En estos días ya no es propiamente una cacería sino más bien una representación. Alguien impregna un pañuelo con olor y minutos más trade salen los sabuesos detrás del rastro, guiando a los jinetes. Aunque llegamos un poco tarde, quiso el destino que nos los encontraramos justo delante de nosotros!! Tuvimos muchísima suerte!! :)
